Denman and Davis Allies with Tools4Mfg Online

CLIFTON, N.J. – March 23, 2006 – Denman & Davis, the Northeast’s largest general-line independent steel service center, today announced that it has allied with Tools4Mfg.com, an online business-to-business trading community for steel manufacturers, suppliers, and purchasers. A growing materials pricing and sourcing resource for the steel industry, Tools4Mfg.com unites buyers and sellers in a virtual marketplace, improving supplier access to new business opportunities, and providing purchasers with instant access to pricing, availability, and supplier information.
As part of the alliance with Tools4Mfg, Denman & Davis customers now have access to an advanced material calculator that enables them to determine specific requirements for their projects - from material type and grade shape, to the proper product processing method. Buyers then send that information to Denman & Davis via the database of registered suppliers, and Denman & Davis then responds with an automated customer-specific price quote.
