Lydia Dragan Earns Certification As A Professional in Human Resources
CLIFTON, N.J., October 27, 1998 Lydia Dragan, personnel manager of Denman & Davis, has earned certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
In doing so, Ms. Dragan had to demonstrate a required level of mastery of theoretical and practical knowledge in human resource management. To earn PHR certification, an applicant must pass a comprehensive examination and have at least four years of professional human resources exempt level experience, or a combination of professional experience and education. Certification must be renewed every three years.
"The human resources field is constantly changing and it's imperative for industry professionals to stay abreast of what is happening," said Ms. Dragan. "The PHR certification process provides valuable knowledge that will guide Denman & Davis in recruiting and retaining superior employees, and in shaping human resource programs that complement the company's strategic development."
